Restraints

Even in facilities that are making strides in reducing the use of restraints, there are occasions when restraints, unfortunately, become a necessity to provide for the safety and well-being of the individuals that are served. Tracking and analyzing the use of restraints is a key component to minimizing them and increasing the safety of staff members and the individuals that are served. Our system tracks all types of restraints. It summarizes the data into easy to read graphs and reports that allow users to analyze trends and patterns in restraint usage. Proper analysis of restraint usage and patterns may allow risk managers and administrators to better utilize available resources to decrease restraint and increase overall facility safety.

PCMA software applications work in conjunction with the PCMA user database so staff certifications, certification status, upcoming training, and basic restraint information is easily reported and graphed.
